Multiwall carbon nanotubes were synthesized using the catalytic chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technique followed by an oxidative purification process. The nanotube modified by functional groups were connected by pre-synthesized oligonucleotides in solution. The material thus obtained was characterized by various microscopic methods.
