Fuzzy Random Variable Generation Using α-Cuts
DOI:10.1109/TFUZZ.2019.2956668.png)
Abstract
En 中文
A method for fuzzy random variable generation based on alpha-cuts and uniform random numbers is proposed in this article. A form of alpha-invariance is proven for a class of fuzzy numbers (FNs) and exact equations for random variable generators of some well-known singleton-core FNs are provided. Applications to univariate/bivariate FNs, two optimization inventory models, and a discussion of the obtained results are provided.
