• Six cubic ABO3 perovskites were assessed using XCOM-based attenuation metrics. • Hf-based perovskites showed the strongest density-dependent attenuation response. • LAC remained more discriminating than MAC at source-relevant gamma energies. • Phy-X/PSD served as an implementation-level consistency check, not validation. • Voct (9.983–12.084 Å3) was used as a correlative descriptor for MAC trends.
