Abstract
En 中文
The literature on group performance and productivity is reviewed, and a framework for the analysis of group reliability is proposed following the traditional input-process-performance paradigm. Based on this framework, a mathematical model of group judgement or group decision making is constructed as a network which is similar to the Boltzmann machine. In this model each group member is assumed to be an information processor which takes on two possible states under the influence of other members and the environment. With this model numerical analyses on some preliminary groups were carried out to investigate the general features of group reliability. Some aspects of group performance that have already been pointed out qualitatively in previous work are demonstrated in a quantitative form.
