Abstract
En 中文
• Moxibustion increases short-chain fatty acids in gut, blood, bone marrow and lung of asthmatic rats. • Moxibustion reduces IL-5, IL-17, IL-33, TSLP and airway inflammation in asthmatic rats. • The study reveals synchronized SCFA changes across multiple tissues for the first time. • Combining lung and intestine acupoints shows better effect than using lung acupoint alone. • Findings provide new evidence for the gut-lung axis theory in traditional Chinese medicine.
