• CERBE extracts groove boundaries from unordered grinding point clouds. • Curvature-weighted sampling improves wheel-generatrix discretization. • Sparse and degraded point-cloud tests verify boundary extraction stability. • OpenCascade and VERICUT validate CAD/CAM-executable groove models. • CERBE core extraction reduces primitive-extraction runtime by approximately 37%.
