Abstract
En 中文
• Intense interval training confers robust cardioprotection post-infarction. • The training specifically attenuates pathogenic M4 macrophage polarization. • This cardioprotection is mediated by targeted downregulation of ITGAM. • Targeting ITGAM rescues cardiomyocytes from macrophage-induced apoptosis.
