• A flexible BC/GO/CoFe2O4 film is developed for leakage magnetic field sensing. • The composite film enhances charge transport and magnetic sensitivity simultaneously. • The device exhibits a sensitivity of 50 mV mT⁻¹ to leakage magnetic fields. • A hybrid EM-TENG enables self-powered monitoring of transformer faults.
