Abstract
En 中文
• Comparative experimental investigations were conducted on the high-velocity perforation performance of composite projectile and ogive-nosed projectile. • The failure modes of steel plates and the evolutionary characteristics of projectile noses under high-velocity perforation were obtained. • The projectile–target interaction process during high-velocity oblique perforation of steel plates by composite projectile was revealed. • The protective mechanism of the cap on the main projectile body was elucidated. • The underlying principles governing the attitude stability of composite projectile during perforation were comparatively analyzed. .
