Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• A layered metal sulfide (KZTS) was prepared as efficient and selective adsorbent for treating Tl+-contaminated wastewater. • Under optimal conditions, KZTS has a high adsorption capacity of 504.66 mg/g for Tl+. • KZTS exhibits superior selectivity for Tl+ against high concentrations of K+, Na+, Ca2+ and Mg2+. • The adsorption process is governed by ion exchange, with contributions from STl complexation and electrostatic attraction.
