• A 2D hyperchaotic map with two offset regulators for free hybrid offset boosting is proposed. • Two regimes of multistability, including attractor self-reproducing and bistability are defined by parameter combinations. • GOWIN FPGA-based circuit implementation verifies the flexible offset boosting driven by the two parameters.
