• Ebola and hantaviruses are enveloped; persistence varies by matrices and conditions • Enveloped viruses are highly susceptible to a variety of disinfectant types • U.S. EPA EVP disinfectants (List L) are recommended for Ebola/hantavirus IPAC • Follow U.S. EPA/CDC IPAC guidance for surface and hand hygiene, and use of PPE • Air decontamination technologies (UVC, glycols, air purifiers) complement IPAC
