Abstract

Coherent X-ray imaging (CXI) techniques such as Bragg coherent diffraction imaging (BCDI) are essential for nanoscale structural characterization. Yet the software ecosystem supporting them is often fragmented, which complicates installation, hinders reproducibility and limits real-time feedback during beamtime. This work presents pyCXIM, a unified open-source software platform that integrates the complete BCDI workflow within a single easy-to-install codebase. pyCXIM seamlessly handles beamline alignment, automated construction of 3D reciprocal-space maps, GPU-accelerated phase retrieval and comprehensive post-processing. This development enhances experimental efficiency, ensures reproducibility and lowers the barrier for CXI methods, as demonstrated through a BCDI study of a Pt nanoparticle.
