Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Firms imitate compatriots’ regional FDI locations, including both rivals and non-rivals. • Home-country collectivism strongly amplifies imitation of compatriots’ location choices. • Imitation is stronger in highly collectivistic countries than in low ones. • The collectivism effect is stronger for first-time investors than for MNEs.
