• Climate change is expected to affect spatial distribution of honeybees and crops. • Species distribution models are used to project honeybee–crop match and mismatch. • Honeybee–crop coupling zones are projected to shrink and crop-only zones to expand. • Climate change disrupts pollination and lead to crop yields losses. • Adaptive strategies are needed to secure pollinator-dependent agriculture.
