Integral multirate output sampling (MOS)-based discrete linear state feedback robust control has been suggested to optimally accommodate the AC load in a four-port DC-DC converter (FPDCC). To make this control feasible, the discrete time small signaled state-space representation of the FPDCC has been obtained based on the improved cyclic averaged current and generalized delta representation of the four-winding transformer. A performance index has also been formulated based on the minimization of the errors between the reference and actual generations of the fuel cell (FC), battery energy storage (BES), and solar PV (SPV). For the validation, the responses of the suggested control scheme have been compared with the sequential quadratic programming (SQP) method. The comparative analysis carried out in the MATLAB's Editor and Simulink environments verifies the proficiency of the integral MOS-led discrete linear state feedback robust control for the FPDCC. Additionally, the manuscript provides a comparison of the small and large signaled responses of the FPDCC's states utilizing the MATLAB's Simulink platform.
