Abstract
En 中文
• APSIM-Cotton with CMIP6 SSP5-8.5 simulated climate impacts on Xinjiang's irrigated cotton systems. • A total of 2.59 million cultivar–sowing combinations were assessed using NSGA-II multi-objective optimization. • Early April sowing maximized lint yield and water-use efficiency across future climates. • Ideotypes with longer FRUDD8, larger bolls, higher lint percentage and faster canopy expansion performed best. • A transferable framework supports climate-resilient cotton breeding and adaptive management.
