• Neutral hydrolysis evaluated for mixed PET/PBT polyester waste. • Aspen-based model predicts 97.1 % TPA recovery in the base case. • Heat recovery assessed as a pinch-based utility-displacement target. • Base-case minimum selling price is $3.66/kg TPA and depends on coproduct value. • Life-cycle assessment shows 2.68 kg CO2-eq/kg TPA within the modeled boundary.
