This study examines the mechanical behavior and design methodologies of Transformed Triangular Corrugated Steel Plates (TT-CSPs) with top stringers (referred to as built-up TT-CSPs) under combined loading conditions, as commonly employed in trestle structures. The bending-shear (M-V) interaction behavior is major concern in strength design and comprehensively analyzed, with particular emphasis on the effects of the TT-CSP and top stringer dimensions. The convexity characteristics of the M-V interaction are investigated through decomposition of unsymmetrical bending stresses. An analytical formulation is established for the M-V interaction strength design, along with an estimation method of interaction. Validation against numerical simulations, European standards, and existing theoretical models demonstrates the accuracy and practical applicability of the proposed approach. The observed increase in shear resistance with bending stress is attributed to unsymmetrical bending stress distribution. It is furthermore observed that the width-to-thickness ratio of TT-CSPs significantly influences the bending-shear correlation. The proposed strength prediction method demonstrates high accuracy for built-up TT-CSPs under combined bending and shear loading.
