• We analysed data from the Netherlands Study of Depression and Anxiety (NESDA). • Interpersonal problem severity and theme were evaluated for six disorders. • Interpersonal profiles were generally characterized by low levels of agency. • Interpersonal distress levels were also mostly similar between disorders. • Participants with comorbid anxiety/depression reported more interpersonal distress.
