Abstract
En 中文
• The optimal eggshell dosage for chain elongation (CE) was 20 g/L (EG-20). • 22.3 g COD/L caproate and 11.3 g COD/L endogenous ethanol was produced in EG-20. • Eggshells created beneficial microbial niches and provided sufficient butyrate. • CE bacteria were enriched to 10.2% compared to their absence in the control. • Ca2+ alleviated yeast inhibition on CEB in the absence of sugar.
