• Elevated temperatures reduce grain yield and antioxidant activity but increase phytic acid (PA) levels. • Aerobic rice system (ARS) maintains or enhances phenolic and flavonoid contents and reduces PA without affecting yield. • Minenomurasaki maintains high yield, increases antioxidant activity, and low PA under ARS. • ARS improves grain yield and antioxidant activity in high-yield varieties, offering a solution for mitigating the impact of climate change on black rice production.
