• Three novel transversely-isotropic auxetic tessellations have been designed and investigated • Tessellations are highly versatile in terms of variable stiffness, volume fraction and can exhibit the full spectrum of isotropic Poisson’s ratio • Experimental tests on additively-manufactured prototypes confirmed the auxetic potential of these systems predicted by the Finite Element simulations
