Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• We proposed a novel strategic framework based on the “digital coupling” of karst surface-subsurface 3D structures for drought monitoring. • We firstly quantify and distinguish the predominance of global karst drought types, explicitly revealing the dominant role of specific drought types across different karst regions • We reveal pronounced regional differentiation patterns in drought types across global karst settings, with this differentiation being driven by the synergistic effects of large-scale climate oscillations and intensive anthropogenic activities.
