Metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is a severe clinical complication of metabolic syndrome, but effective pharmacological treatments remain scarce. This study investigated the role of lactylation—a novel post-translational modification—in the pathogenesis of MASH, using murine models.
