Abstract

Abstract

Flatness control in strip steel is a complex, nonlinear, multivariable problem, with irregular distribution along the width direction. This paper proposes a hierarchical decoupling optimization (HDO) strategy for multi-objective variable control, aiming to optimize control objectives. To address irregular flatness distribution in actual production, a Lasso constraint penalty factor is introduced into the control objective function. The proposed strategy is applied to the cold rolling process, with production results showing a 7.71% improvement in flatness control accuracy and enhanced uniformity in the flatness distribution.
