Abstract

• An innovative lead-time control strategy is proposed, which enables accurate calculation of the system convergence time and avoids the unbounded gain growth problem inherent in traditional prescribed-time control methods. • By employing an inner-outer loop observer architecture, multi-source disturbance separation, dynamic reconstruction, and refined estimation are achieved, thereby enhancing the system’s tracking accuracy and disturbance rejection performance. • A lead-time second-order integral sliding mode controller is employed, which combines a powered integrator with a super-twisting-like structure. This effectively eliminates steady-state error while significantly suppressing chattering and markedly enhancing the dynamic smoothness of the system. • For control moment gyroscopes in a flexible support environment, the adoption of a lead-time composite control strategy achieves multi-source cooperative compensation and chattering suppression, thereby accomplishing comprehensive performance characterized by ultra-precision, ultra-quietness, and ultra-agility.
