Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Older age, male sex, Black race, rurality, high DCI tied to advanced OAG at entry • Diabetes was a major protective factor against initial presentation with advanced stage glaucoma • Higher IOP and CDR at presentation were also linked to sociodemographic factors • Risk associations held after excluding glaucoma suspects and those with history of prior glaucoma treatment; although Asian individuals only showed increased risk of presenting with advanced OAG after excluding glaucoma suspects. • Findings support targeted screening for underserved, high-risk populations
