Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• The effects of PCE superplasticizer, C-S-H nanoparticle accelerator and silane-based water-repellent admixtures on the carbon footprint, compressive strength performance, and carbonation resistance of CEM II/A-LL, LC3-50, and LC3-35 concretes were investigated. • Admixtures support LC3-50 and LC3-35 concretes to perform comparably with CEM II/A-LL concrete, while reducing concrete CO2-eq. footprint by 22 – 38%. • Results show that C-S-H nano-particle accelerators can increase both the strength and carbonation resistance classes of LC3 concretes while reducing CO2-eq. footprint.
