• A multi-skill scheduling problem with allocation and skill flexibility is studied. • A new exact logic-based Benders decomposition approach is developed. • The master problem solves scheduling using constraint programming. • Subproblems verify allocation feasibility via integer programming. • This approach outperforms a monolithic constraint programming model.
