• LOHC-IDA, a novel statistical framework, addresses limitations of traditional IDA in hazard- consistent EDP estimation for seismic loss assessment. • This framework accounts for correlations among EDPs across intensity levels and uses peak ground acceleration to improve peak floor acceleration prediction. • Loss estimates from LOHC-IDA closely align with MSA results, with an average absolute error of only 5%.
