• 3D thermal conduction network is constructed via CMCS-FG synergistic design in PVA. • The thermal conductivity reaches 12.22 W·m⁻¹·K⁻¹ at low FG loading (3.0 wt.%). • High tensile strength, insulation and heat dissipation were obtained by crosslinking.
