• H2O2 production via 2e− WOR is achieved at an ultra-low overpotential of 150 mV. • A CaCO3 composite anode enables efficient H2O2 electrosynthesis in 0.03 M K2CO3. • 2e− WOR mechanism is driven by dynamic CO32– exchange and enrichment at anode. • Uses abundant CaCO3 to construct sustainable composite anodes for green H2O2 electrosynthesis.
