Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
A central goal of global ecology is to determine whether widespread spatial distribution reflects broad ecological performance. For microorganisms, this remains unresolved because occurrence and performance are rarely evaluated together across biomes. Here, we examine how global distribution and ecological performance are linked across Earth's biomes.
