Abstract
En 中文
This letter proposes a new model for estimating mixed path wireless signal propagation characteristics of new deployment areas, utilizing signal propagation training from other areas that have prior signal measurements. Using 3D city maps, the training and the deployment areas can be divided into geographical grid tiles, each one having distinct propagation channel characteristics. The similarity between the training area tiles and the deployment area tiles can be used to estimate the potential propagation characteristics on the deployment area, thereby increasing the efficiency of the infrastructure deployment planning process.
