Quality function deployment (QFD) is a tool for converting customer requirements (CRs) into technical specifications (TSs) for product development. Traditional QFD is complex and requires collaboration among diverse teams, including designers and engineers, who make critical decisions throughout the process. In competitive markets, there is pressure to reduce time-to-market, making traditional QFD less feasible due to resource constraints. This paper introduces a smart QFD method that automates the process, minimizing expert involvement by using online product reviews to map CRs to TSs. A graph convolutional network (GCN) is employed to streamline feature extraction, with experiments showing its effectiveness.
