Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
Matched held processing (MFP) is a generalised procedure of array processing used in ocean acoustics to localise sources. It is based on comparing data with solutions to the wave equation using an assortment of linear and non-linear methods. In essence, it is an inversion method which systematically searches through forward solutions. Through simulation, the applicability of MFP techniques are examined to localise sources of vibration in structures. (C) 1997 Academic Press Limited
