• Developed an ultra‑stable preformed foam using nano‑silica (NS) and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC). • Demonstrated that EPS‑reinforced foamed concrete (ERFC) achieves a superior strength‑to‑density ratio compared to conventional foamed concrete at equivalent densities. • Systematically investigated the effects of EPS volume content (0%–60.58%) and particle size (1–10 mm) on dry density, flexural strength, compressive strength, and thermal conductivity.
