• Metastructure-enhanced single-sensor localization method is proposed. • Vibration feature distinguishability is improved via randomized local resonance. • Over 98% localization accuracy is achieved under diverse propeller fault scenarios. • Strong robustness is maintained under low SNR and sparse data conditions.
