Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• MPs transform exchangeable Cd to reducible Cd in soil macroaggregates. • In red soil, MPs drive Fe oxide crystallization and P release to immobilize Cd. • In paddy soil, MPs foster local anoxic zones and Fe(III) reduction to fix Cd. • MPs activate soil P, promoting Cd fixation via Fe-P-Cd surface interactions. • Short-term tests reveal how MPs alter Fe-P cycling to reduce Cd mobility.
