Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• A fully green biphasic solvent system composed of ChCl–ZnCl2 DES and ethyl acetate was developed. • The biphasic system enabled biomass conversion under remarkably mild conditions (90 °C, atmospheric pressure). • Selective hemicellulose degradation was achieved while cellulose remained largely preserved. • A high furfural yield of up to 86.5% was obtained. • High-quality lignin and cellulose fractions were simultaneously separated.
