Abstract

• A model-guided coordinated control strategy is proposed for centrifugal compressors using CMA-ES. • A lumped-parameter Greitzer model enables real-time quantitative surge risk assessment. • The CMA-ES optimizer incorporates physical model information to suppress transient overshoot. • Experimental results demonstrate significant overshoot reduction and enhanced robustness under three operating modes.
