Abstract
En 中文
• The Brazilian Pampas occupy less than 3% of the national territory and have been constantly degraded. • Protected areas (PA) are the only places where natural environments and ecosystem services (ES) are protected. • Integral Protection Areas are more effective in conserving Ecosystem Services (ES) than Sustainable Use Areas. • Identifying critical areas for ES is important for the management of PA, especially from the Brazilian Pampa. • The efficiency of PA in safeguarding ES is crucial for environmental resilience and human well-being.
