Modeling contact problems with subsurface and surface-breaking cracks
DOI:10.1016/j.engfracmech.2026.111954.png)
Abstract
En 中文
• A semi-analytical model is developed for cracked structures under contact loading. • Partially open behavior of crack mouth at the surface of a half-plane is studied. • Crack face penetration and negative KI are avoided by ignoring climb dislocation. • The model achieves better convergence and efficiency than the finite element model.
