Hybrid nanofluids are increasingly used due to their enhanced thermal performance in residential and industrial applications. This study investigates the rotational flow of the hybrid nanofluid $${\text {MoS}}_{2} {\text {Co}}/{\text {C}}_{2} {\text {H}}_{6} {\text {O}}_{2} {\text {H}}_{2} {\text {O}}$$ , formed by dispersing molybdenum disulfide and cobalt nanoparticles in an ethylene glycol water mixture. The Buongiorno two-phase model is employed to analyze the effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis on temperature and concentration distributions. Numerical solutions are obtained using Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) and validated with MATLAB bvp4c. Results show that heat transfer increases with nanoparticle volume fraction $$\phi$$ , while the hybrid nanofluid exhibits higher thermal efficiency than the single nanofluid $${\text {MoS}}_{2} /{\text {C}}_{2} {\text {H}}_{6} {\text {O}}_{2} {\text {H}}_{2} {\text {O}}$$ . The study also highlights the significant influence of hybrid nanoparticles on Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) flow and heat transfer at elevated temperatures.
