Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• A modified remote sensing ecological index (MRSEI) was developed for high-sediment basins. • The integration of SAVI and DMI effectively mitigated soil background interference in dry-hot valleys. • The eco-environmental quality of the Red River Basin exhibited a V-shaped evolution from 2000 to 2025. • High-density traditional village clusters showed significant spatial coupling with superior ecological zones. • Findings provide a scientific basis for the synergistic preservation of cultural and natural heritage.
