• We propose a multi-attention-powered learning Genetic algorithm. • ALGA is applied to real-world 3D wind farm layout optimization. • This attention-learning mechanism enhances the quality of optimization results. • Results on two case studies show that ALGA outperforms other state-of-the-art methods.
