• An MSE using a novel MEOC algorithm is proposed for optimized ejector control. • The impact of MEOC parameters on MSE performance is investigated. • The MSE boosts ER by 47.62% and flow stability by 10.84% over a single ejector. • The MSE exhibits significantly enhanced generalization over a single ejector.
