Abstract

• This paper presents a stress minimization topology optimization framework based on the phase field method. • The equation introduces the coupled relationship with the stress objective, Ginzburg–Landau energy, volume constraints, and total phase fraction control. • Detailed sensitivity analysis is conducted for the highly non-linearity optimization issue. • The framework’s effectiveness is demonstrated on a series of structural benchmark problems involving multiple materials.
