• Multi- object optimization was performed for curry leaves drying in PVT dryer. • PVT dryer performance analyzed with thermodynamically, energy, exergy and sutainability. • Optimal drying conditions were achieved with 0.972 solution desirability. • PVT dryer maintained superior performance in preserving the quality attributes.
